| How much does an automated driveway gate cost? | This depends on size, material, type of automation and what peripherals (intercom, exit keypad, exit loops etc) Price could range from £8,000 +VAT to £15,000 +VAT |
| How long does it take to install an automated gate? | 5 days on average, once the gate has been made |
| What is the warranty period on a gate installation | Our workmanship is warranted for 12 months, our gates for 10 years and the automation equipment has manufacturer's warranties which can range from one year to three years |
| Can I pay by credit card | Yes, we can take card payments |
| What if I don't want to pay for the cost of the safety equipment? | We are bound by regulations to ensure that all gate installations are safe, i.e. set up to avoid doing harm to people or things. If you were a landlord or an employer, you would be bound by the same regulations, which are enforced by the Health & Safety Executive. |
If I wanted you to replace my old gates, would I be responsible for getting rid of them? | We would take care of all waste disposal, which would be included in our quotation |
| At present there is no electricity supply to where I want the gate to be. | We will take running a supply from your power source into account when quoting for labour. |
Is there a limit on what colour I want the gates? | Composite gates are limited in colour choice (there are eight provided by the supplier we use). Wooden gates can be treated or varnished with stain from whatever range you wish. Metal gates can be any colour you like by specifying its RAL number, which you can find on line. |

| If we had wooden gates, how often would we need to revarnish them? | That depends on your location, exposure to the elements and so on. Every two or three years would be a guide, much longer if the gates are painted. |
